Obituary for Elizabeth Mary Ann Everard

It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Elizabeth Mary Ann Everard at age 63, on Wednesday November 15, 2017. Her fight for life was like no other only proving her tenacity, strength and willpower. A loving wife to Michael and cherished mother to Colleen and Ryan, Elizabeth is adored and remembered fondly by those close family members and friends she has touched. Elizabeth is now resting peacefully with her own Mother and Father in heaven.
Born in Timmins, Ontario, on September 20, 1954, Elizabeth lived a colourful and adventurous childhood with three siblings, Gordon, Patricia and John. She would regularly reminisce of childhood stories as her father’s career relocated the family to different locations in Canada and United States. Later on, Elizabeth happily married, started a family of her own. She dedicated much of her time and heart to making her children’s lives better through volunteering at school, event planning and organizing for the teams and sports they were involved in. Later in life, Elizabeth choose to rekindle her love for design through ten plus years of successful employment at Restoration Hardware.
A daughter, wife, mother, sister, nana, mother in law and friend, she knew what it meant to live life with class, dignity and upmost flare. Elizabeth had a love for cooking, baking, decorating, reading, tending to the family pet-Benji, gardening, shopping, travelling, skiing, painting, sewing and spending simple precious moments with her beloved daughter.
A celebration of Elizabeth’s life will be held on Sunday, November 26, at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home, 211 Langstaff Road East (west of Bayview Avenue), Thornhill, Ontario, with visitations from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A Service of Christian burial will take place on Monday, November 27, within the funeral home in the Chapel of St. Joseph at 11:30 AM.
You are in a better place dearest Mom. Wait for us in heaven.
