MONTINI, Erilda (nee Ferrari). Peacefully with family by her side early Saturday morning, December 23, 2017 at Trillium Health Partners - Mississauga Hospital, at the age of 97. Born on January 13, 1920 in Patrica, Italy to Natalino Ferrari and Giuseppina Costanza. Beloved wife of the late Luigi, loving mother of Enzo and Enio (Maria), proud grandmother of Justin (Nicole) and Gregory. Predeceased by all of her siblings, Gino, Stefanina (late Luigi), Arnaldo (late Rina), Pia (late Giuseppe) and Giuseppe. Cherished aunt to Ana Maria (Victor), late Rosanna (late Michele), late Bruno, Lorenzina, Mary, Lino, late Carlo, late Oliviero (late Mary), late Davide, late Silvano (Pierina), Silvana (late Vincenzo), Angelina (Umberto). Erilda will be fondly remembered by her family, relatives and friends. Special thanks to Dr. Ruth Douglas and the 2nd floor staff at Villa Forum Long Term Care and to Dr. Anant Murthy, Eoin Connolly (Ethicist), Kelly Crowdy (Social Worker) and staff at Trillium Health Partners - Mississauga Intensive Care Unit. Visitation at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home, 211 Langstaff Road East, Thornhill (west of Bayview Ave.) on Thursday, December 28, 2017 from 5 to 8 pm and on Friday, December 29 from 2 to 4 pm and from 6 to 8 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will take place within the funeral home in the Chapel of St. Joseph on Saturday, December 30 at 10:30 am. The final rite of committal and entombment will take place at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (8361 Yonge Street, Thornhill) followed by a reception at the funeral home.
