Condolences

Condolence From: Hazel Jackson
Condolence: Helen was my neighbor and friend for the past few years. She was doing volunteer work for Sistering on Bloor and when I last spoke with her she was looking forward to moving into a new apartment. She was a beautiful, intelligent woman who was really trying to make a difference in this world. God bless her! My heartfelt condolences to Ana Isabel and Frederick and Julian.

Condolence From: Wendy McCarroll-Gallegos
Condolence: Blessings of comfort and peace to Helen's family at this sad time. I knew Helen through a housing program I work with and she was a kind hearted person who had many gifts to share.

Condolence From: Roxanne
Condolence: as a fellow artist and harm reduction advocate Nicole and I had many things in common.
We had harsh pasts and gentle growing from them, we had hard realities and soft recoveries, we had hopes and dreams and doubts they could ever happen...
as friends we had many things in common...breeze and sun on our faces, empathy and compassion for our sisters and brothers on the street, and true commitment to the services we work at.
I miss her already and will honour her all-ways
peace at last, respect forever and love never ending.
Bye buddy-you are all-ways with me...all-ways.

Condolence: Dear Family and friends of Helen.
I have known "Nicole" for several years through the South Riverdale Community Health Centre. Nicole would attend different programs here for women, most specifically the drop-in breakfast.
I will always remember her to be so gentle and caring about other women in difficult situations. She was a friend to everyone and everyone was her friend.
Her artistic abilities were amazing and interesting to see the world through her eyes.
I will miss her dearly.
Sincerely
Debby Yuke
