Mrs Yvonne Fernandes (nee De Souza)

July 6 1945 - March 21 2017

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Yvonne after a long battle with cancer. She passed peacefully, surrounded by her family. Yvonne was a loving mother to Melvin and Brandon (Mia) and grandmother to Sierra-Jasmine and Sean.


Daughter of the late Julius and Dylia De Souza. Sister to Mabel, late Irene (late Adrian Pereira), Doris, Edwin (Georgina De Souza) and Tessie (late Leopold Gracias). Aunt to late Stanley, Silvie, Charmaine (Eric St-Jean), Elsa, Genevieve and Lauren. Grand Aunt to Shaun, Zachary and Christopher. She will be missed by her in-laws in Toronto and Dar es Salaam.
