Obituary for Maria Moro
Moro, Maria
With great love and wonderful memories, the family of Maria Moro announce her peaceful passing at home on Tuesday March 14, 2017 at the age of 95. Predeceased by her beloved husband Giovanni (2001).She will be forever deeply cherished by her son Gary (Rosemary) and daughter Paula. Proud and loving Nonna of Christina (John) and Daniel (Marina) and delighted Bisnonna to Matteo. They were her pride and joy. Mom cared for her family with selfless devotion and despite the frailties imposed by time, was always in good humor. Maria is now back in the arms of her family who have gone before her and will be forever in the hearts of those who loved her.
The family will receive friends at the Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home 211 Langstaff Road East (west of Bayview Ave.) from 2 pm to 4 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm on Sunday March 19. A mass of Christian burial will take place within the funeral home in the Chapel of St. Joseph on Monday at 9:30 am. The final rite of committal and entombment will take place at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (8361 Yonge Street Thornhill). Online condolences & directions may be found at www.catholic-cemeteries.com
