"After a long and courageous battle with breast cancer which spread to her lungs in 2013 and continued to her spine, skull, and bones, Elsa succumb to her illness on Dec. 15, 2015 at Baycrest Hospital. She was the loved and cherished wife of Marc. She will be sorely missed by her loving family, her sisters Nilda and Miriam with husband John, daughter-in-law of Manuel, sister-in-law to Suzanne with husband Eugene, loving aunt to Ryan, Marissa, Marianne, Christian, and Jodi. Elsa will be sadly missed by many relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at the Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home, 211 Langstaff Road E. (west of Bayview Ave.) on Friday December 18 from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 9pm. A Roman Catholic Funeral Mass will take place at the funeral home within the Chapel of St. Joseph on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 9:30 am. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery."
